Fabric that suits how the cushion is used.
A cushion in a boat and a cushion on a kitchen bench are used in different ways. So we choose fabric and padding together with you. Then we sew the cushion in our studio in Stockholm.
The craft
We do the sewing ourselves, in our studio.
Dynboden shares its studio and machines with Stockholm Textildesign. Here we sew everything from a single cushion to the cushions for a whole boat.
Straight seams and a cover that fits well show after a few years, when the cushion still looks good. We sew with care and want to hand over work we are happy with ourselves.
Fabric
Different places need different fabric.
Outdoors and on the water
Cushions that sit outside get a fabric that handles sun and damp and dries fast.
Motorhome and caravan
Hard-wearing fabrics that are easy to wipe clean and comfortable to sit and sleep on.
At home
Upholstery fabrics in many textures and colours. We choose based on how the room is used and what you like.
Gym and business
Synthetic leather for gym benches and hard-wearing upholstery fabrics for places where lots of people sit.
Fabric samples
We find fabric for your job.
We are a small studio with a small stock. So we order fabric for each job. You see samples and pick the one you like best.
If you already have a fabric that goes with the rest of the room, we are happy to sew the cushion in that.
Re-covering
What still holds up can stay.
A worn cushion often has only a worn surface. Then we replace the cover and keep the frame and padding when they are in good shape.
That keeps the cost down and gives the cushion a longer life.
