You spend long hours on a boat, often in wet swimwear. The cushions get lots of sun and many hours outdoors. We sew new cushions and re-cover the ones you have, in a fabric that suits how you use your boat.

Cockpit cushions
New cushions, or new covers for the ones you have. We sew to your boat's measurements so the cushions sit well on the benches.
Sun deck cushions
Cushions for the fore and aft deck, where you sunbathe and dry off after a swim.
Cabin cushions and mattresses
Seat cushions for the saloon and mattresses for the berths. We sew from a template or your old cushions when the shape follows the hull.
Helm seats and other seating
We re-cover chairs and seats. The padding can stay if it is in good condition.
Re-covering
New upholstery on the same seat.
A helm seat or bench with a worn surface often has a frame that will last for years. We re-cover it in new material and sew the seams the same way as on the original.
If the padding has gone flat, we replace it at the same time. You get a seat that feels new and you keep the interior you already have.
Measurements and templates
Cushions that follow the shape of your boat.
Few corners on a boat are straight. The mattress in the forepeak and the cushions in the cockpit follow the hull and are sewn to your boat's own measurements.
Often it is enough to drop off your old cushions at our studio in Liljeholmen, or to send measurements and photos. If the shape is tricky, get in touch and we will talk through how to do it.

Fabric
A fabric that suits life on board.
Cushions that live outdoors need a fabric that copes with sun and water and dries quickly. The cushions in the cabin can have a softer fabric.
Tell us how you use your boat and we will suggest fabric and padding. You choose the colour and pattern.

Good to know about boat cushions.
How do you get the right measurements for the cushions?
Most of the time, photos and measurements that you send us are enough. You can also drop off your old cushions at our studio in Liljeholmen and we use them as a pattern.
Which fabric should I choose for cushions that stay outside?
We suggest fabrics made for outdoor use that cope with sun and damp. You choose the colour and texture from the samples we put together.
Can you keep the padding in my cushions?
Yes, if it is in good condition. Then we sew new covers only. If the padding is flat or has been damaged by damp, we replace it at the same time.
How long does it take?
We are a small studio and take on a limited number of jobs at a time. Sometimes we can start fairly soon. Many people get in touch before the boating season, and then the waiting time can be longer. Once we have seen your job, we tell you when we can take it in and roughly when it will be ready.
Can I choose the colour and pattern myself?
Yes. We put together fabric samples that suit your boat and you pick the one you like best.
