We help you choose.
Most people know where the cushion will go and want a hand with the rest. We ask who will sit there and how often. Then we suggest padding and fabric to match.
If you have children and pets at home, or lots of sun through the window, we choose the fabric with that in mind.
Measurements and templates
When the space has its own measurements.
Old houses have slanted walls and their own angles. We make a template from your measurements and photos and sew the cushion from it, so it sits level and fills the whole nook.

How do I measure my window seat or nook?
We tell you what to measure and you send the measurements along with a few photos. If the nook has angles or a radiator in the way, get in touch and we will work out how to do it.
Which padding suits a bench that is used every day?
A kitchen bench that is used every day needs firmer padding than a spot where you sit now and then. Tell us how you use your bench and we will suggest padding.
Can I have the cushion in the same fabric as my curtains?
Yes. Bring your own fabric or choose from the samples we put together.
Can the cover be washed?
Many furnishing fabrics can be wiped clean, or the cover can be taken off and washed. We tell you how your fabric should be cared for before you decide.
How long does it take?
We are a small studio and take on a limited number of jobs at a time. Sometimes we can start fairly soon, and when there are many orders the waiting time can be longer. Once we have seen your job, we tell you when we can take it in and roughly when it will be ready.
